Shahzad Textile began upstream, in yarn spinning. The socks division exists because we kept asking what happened to that yarn after it left our spinning floor — and decided to keep more of that answer in-house.

1978 — Ground Broken
Shahzad Textile Mills Limited is incorporated; ground breaking takes place on Friday, 10th February 1978.
Four Decades of Yarn Spinning
The group builds its reputation as one of Pakistan's leading yarn manufacturers and exporters, spinning ring-spun cotton, polyester/cotton, and polyester/viscose blends.
2019 — Socks & Hosiery Division
After roughly 40 years focused on yarn, the group enters socks and hosiery manufacturing, extending its spinning expertise into finished product.

The division reports up through Shahzad Textile Mills Limited's Board of Directors — seven directors including the Chairman, Chief Executive, and independent directors overseeing group strategy and governance.
